Shailene Woodley's Biography

Shailene Diann Woodley is my favorite actress. Woodley was born in Simi Valley, California on November 15th, 1991. Her mother, Lori is a middle school counselor, and her father, Lonnie Woodley, is a school principal. She has one brother, Tanner. She was educated at Simi Valley High School in California. When Woodley was four years old she began commercial modeling. Acting roles followed, and she made her screen debut in 1999's Replacing Dad (1999). More parts followed in The District (2000), The O.C (2003) and Crossing Jordan (2001), amongst others. When Woodley was 15, she was diagnosed with Idiopathic Scoliosis and wore a chest to hips plastic brace for two years, which proved a successful treatment.
In 2008, Woodley was cast in the lead role of Amy Juergens in The Secret Life of the American Teenager (2008) and in 2011 she had her big screen breakthrough when she appeared in Alexander Payne's The Descendants (2011), opposite George Clooney. Her performance in the role of Alexandra King brought critical acclaim and recognition by the movie industry. She won an Independent Spirit Award and the 2012 MTV Movie Awards Breakthrough Performance Award, as well as a Golden Globe nomination.
In October 2012, it was announced that Woodley was offered the role of Mary Jane Watson in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. On June 19, 2013, it was announced that she was cut from the film. Director Marc Webb told The Hollywood Reporter that the cut was "a creative decision to streamline the story and focus on Peter and Gwen and their relationship," and that everyone loved working with Woodley.
On March 19, 2013, Woodley was cast as protagonist Hazel Grace Lancaster in The Fault In Our Stars, the film adaptation of John Green's novel of the same name. The film was released on June 6, 2014, and received positive reviews from critics and was also a box-office success.
Woodley starred as Tris Prior in the film Divergent, an adaptation of Veronica Roth's best-selling young adult novel of the same name, and the first installment in The Divergent Series; it was released on March 21, 2014. The film received mixed reviews, but Woodley's performance as Tris received a positive reception.
Woodley will reprise her role as Tris in the second installment in The Divergent Series, titled The Divergent Series: Insurgent, which began filming on May 27, 2014 and has a release date of March 20, 2015. She will reprise her role again in the two-part finale of the franchise, The Divergent Series.

365 hari di tahun 2014 sudah berlalu semua yaa, semuanya yang ada di 2014 tinggal kenangan. Gue tau pasti kalian semua udah punya banyak banget moment, pengalaman suka dan duka di tahun itu, termasuk gue. Tahun 2014 punya kesan tersendiri bagi gue, and I think it's so bad hahaha tapi yaudahlah itu udah lewat dan buat pelajaran aja. Dan sekarang nihhhhh..
365 new days and 365 new chances. Setelah gue mendengar kalimat itu entah kenapa gue langsung tertarik. Jadi, kita bakalan ngelewatin 365 hari baru ditahun yang baru ini dan dengan kesempatan baru juga pasti. Kalian udah punya rencana belom ditahun ini apa yang mau kalian lakukan atau apa yang harus kalian capai? Kalau yang belom punya rencana, ayo direncanain dulu. Ya namanya jugakan rencana belom tau bisa terlaksana atau enggak, seenggaknya kita udah punya gambaran kedepannya kita mau ngapain aja dan target kita apa, jadi gak ngebuat kita kalang kabut sendiri. Itu hanya saran ajaaa ya manteman hoho
Oh iya, buat yang di tahun 2014 pernah dapet kesempatan tapi di sia-siain atau failed, dont give up yaa! Kan 365 new chances, jadi kalau bisa di tahun ini jangan pernah nyia-nyiain kesempatan lagi. Belom tentu kan kesempatan itu datangnya dua kali^^
